03/18/18-03/19/18 Here's a project I am working on for the Teens Curate Teens program showcase 2018 under the topic of What About Us? For this one, I am choosing to focus on the gun control problem that has haunted the United States for so long. I am the type to learn about my artwork as I'm making it, so I don't have the concrete idea it is trying to tell me yet, but I'm on my way. I have to rush though, since I haven't been able to work on it for the past few weeks. Ps: here is the process along with the first concept art of it. I might take it to my art teacher at school for critique. -It's Nick...oleole
04/01/18 Happy Easter! I have pretty much finished my self portrait. I am not very satisfied with my technique, since it looks pretty messy and the face doesn't resemble the picture due to an error at the trunk of the nose and the right eye. Even so, I am still satisfied with my piece because this was my fist time doing acrylic painting at such a big scale, given the I paint very rarely in this medium. Overall, I am grateful for the knowledge I gained while doing this project and the patient and continuous guidance of professor Yoshua.
05/03/18 Heya! This is a piece I did for a competition called "Power of The paint brush" but since the application process was very confusing, I am not sure what my position would be in the competition at the moment. Also, because of so many tests coming up, I've been having trouble finding inspiration and doing something I deem "worthy " but I'm getting there, I hope.

04/14/18 Today was Open Studios! Here are some of the artwork I found eye catching, everyone did so good! The artist names should be there fire some ( first two pictures by Emily Xie) but I couldn't get the names for some of them.
03/12/18 Late night painting setup for the self portrait project!
overall; everyone did really well. we all worked hard and enjoyed ourselves along with learning new tricks and techniques on how to paint.
