A cool winter breeze ushered in a whisper of snowflakes, sending tingles down Tsukiyama’s spine. Leaning casually against his usual spot at a local cafe, he straightened up his lavender blazer at the sight of his beloved Kaneki. Such a sweet epicurean delight-- AH! How Tsukiyama reveled in the thought of finally tasting his perfect meal, the meal to surpass any meal he’d had before. Thinking of the sensation caressing his taste buds caused his mouth to water, and to think, it would be his-- ALL HIS!!

‘Ah--?’

The Gourmet eyed the orchids, pupils narrowing in surprise.

‘ A gift, pour moi~?’ he flourished his hand, bringing it to his chest. Rising from his seat, he circled the young ghoul, resting a hand on his shoulder. ‘ What a pleasant surprise, mon ami~! Ah! This will be a truly splendid addition to my mantle at home. Won’t you accompany me there, Kaneki-kun~? T’would be a shame for you not to see what a blessing your gift is, no? ‘

Yes, Tsukiyama. That’s it.

     the trip, admittedly, would have taken LESS time had he not stopped to play with a few of the stray cats on the way home. it helped that he also had a juice box in his bag to keep him occupied and full in the midst of their little gathering. but before he realized it, he’d meandered off for two hours and completely miscalculated how long it’d take to get home. at least the groceries in the bag didn’t spoil in that time. 

kanna didn’t mean for it, but her words tumbled from her lips before she could stop them, smiling at the girl.

“you’re really pretty, you know that?”

     【 🌹 】― Locks of walnut hair swayed in the cool afternoon breeze as Makoto Kino made her way home from school. Today had been a fairly productive day for her and she was exhausted. She’d learned a new recipe in Home Economics; a traditional Pumpkin Pie! She managed to achieve top of her class for presentation of the dish as well as taste, but she was more excited to be able to recreate it for her friends. Makoto knew that Usagi, in particular, would probably love it, given how bad of a sweet tooth she had!

Something caught the attention of Makoto’s pine irises as she rounded a corner; a girl, hunched over what looked like a cardboard box? Curious, she approached the girl, only to be greeted by a high-pitched mewl from inside the box. A small furry head poked up, ears perked toward her. This was.. a box full of kittens? She couldn’t fight the smile that tugged at her lips as she crouched down beside the girl.

[ HAPPY 2019 EVERYONE!!

The holidays roundhouse kicked me in the side of the head, and then work started up and I just got so busy but it was nice?? Nothing terrible happened, it was very relaxing!! A few new things, in accordance with the new year;

I’ve changed my out of character face claim from Li Sayoran to Deku-kun. Why? Because.

My new years’ resolution is to roleplay more & care less. What does this mean? Care about myself more, and about the notions of others, less! Not in the sense of, caring less about my friends or their opinions. But, writing more for myself, for my want to share with others in collaboration with my fellow friends & writers, and less concern in regards to how others view me, or my characters, or think of me, or my portrayals, or how I react to things, or worry. I swear this makes more sense in my head, I’m just not wording it correctly!!

& now, for the fun bit!! Positivity!! Yaaay! Forgive me if I forget everyone’s ooc handles, I’m an old man and my memory’s not the greatest!! Fair warning, I’ll be gushing and when I do that I tend to repeat myself! There’s just so much to say aahh!!! I’ll also not name a lot of people because boy that’s a lot of people and I can only think to say so many things before my brain starts to fry itself, but!!

To everyone not named, and even to those that are: thank you for writing with me, or reading my writing, or wanting to follow me for whatever your reasons are! I may not roleplay with or talk with all of you, but it’s such an amazing experience to see you on my dash!! I hope 2019 treats you all with kindness, with experiences to help yourself grow and change. Even if things get tough, or horrible, or extremely sad, please continue to live and to remember: our mistakes and our losses do not define us. It is our choices, our conscious change as people, and our will to live that does!

@projectlightfox -  We don’t talk very much, and that’s okay! I love seeing your writing on my dash. You clearly love your characters, very, very much, and the time and effort you place into them is an inspiration!! I don’t always read all of your threads, but the glimpses I do get, I adore!

Your art! Good gracious your art of your original characters blows me away. You have a clear handle on their anatomy, their personalities shine through with that expressive, loving care. I love how your art style is reminiscent of the original sonic artwork but you give it your own spin! It’s unique, and I for one am always looking forward to seeing more of your art! I hope you continue to draw, and to write!! Happy 2019!!

@thewayfaringhero -  I love how you write for Arrow. I love how you’ve developed him beyond what he was as a canon character and truly made him your own. I love the changes you’ve chosen to give him and how those evolved overtime!! His accent!! His scar!! It’s your portrayal that gives me hope that I can show Shadow / Dominic, that same care and time and development. Your threads with @projectlightfox are some of my favourites to read or even just glimpse!

I’m super excited to see where Dominic and Arrow go, how their friendship changes and grows over time! Your writing is like a nice, breathe of fresh air, and the care you have for Arrow as his own person is very clear in how you write for him. You’ve made him feel very very real, and for that, I’m inspired even more! No matter how long you take with replies, or answering asks, I’m always excited to see your next writing! Thank you so much for taking the time to write with me, and I hope to see you more! Happy 2019!!

@thehouseofivo - You’re a dear friend of mine, regardless of how much we do or don’t talk. I hope you’ll remember that, I really do! I love how you write for Julian, I adore his storyline, and how you’re so. You’re so creative! You write not only for Julian, but so many other characters that you want to expand from their original sources!! I’m in such amazed awe at the sheer endless creativity and ideas you always seem to have!!

Not only that but you’re not afraid to keep your characters true to who they are! You don’t change them or have them react another way just to spare another writers’ or characters’ feelings. I wish I had half of that resolve, but I’m doing my best! You’re an inspiration to me, and I am always super excited to see where it is you’ll take your characters next!!

I miss talking with you, but I’m glad you’re still around, and I’m always rooting for you!! Happy 2019!!

@onixirii - I’m so happy that I met you! I love how you write for Tohru, I love how positive and happy you are, but I also love how honest you are too! I know you can’t always be that bright spot of optimism, and I want to remind you that that’s okay. You need to remember to take care of and love yourself too, before others, and that’s difficult. I know how difficult that is, but it’s super important. I believe in you!!

It’s okay too, that you take your time with things! Finding motivation for muses can be tough, especially ones as bubbly and happy as Tohru can be. I’m always here for you, I’m always willing to wait for you. Your writing is so cute and it never fails to make me smile. I’ll stand by your side, no matter what trials you go through, and I always look forward to writing with you!!

@lightdash - Your portrayal of Sonic is so unique, I’ve not run across it before! I also love how you write for him. I adore how, much passion and thought you place into him! He feels like Sonic, while at the same time, your own portrayal! That can be a very very difficult balance to strike and keep, but you’re succeeding!!

I need to get into the habit of reading more of your threads, honestly. I love what we’ve written for Dominic and Sonic so far, and I cannot wait to write more! You take your time, I don’t mind at all waiting! If you have any silly ideas or plots you might want to hash out, by all means drop me a message or leave an ask and I’ll make sure to do the same!!
