If you're friends with Robin you should know a few things. The first is they portray cdream in a questionable manner (and I have receipts for this and why it's a problem). The second is they vague the people who call this out. I don't want to start issues but I thought you should know.
First of all, Robin is my BEST friend. If they portray Dream in any sort of way, I am already aware of it-which they DON’T. I find it frankly weird that you’re trying to break my friendship with them by calling their artwork problematic. Especially when I, myself, have just recently been harrassed over my artwork. I will NEVER support tearing down artists.
Robin said it best, so I’m going to repeat it here:
If you do not like the art, it is NOT your place to decide what art IS OR ISN’T good enough for the fandom or online space. It is YOUR job to block things YOU don’t like to curate your own experience.
You don’t get to attack people because you disagree with their art style or artwork.
You don’t get to reach out to others not to support people or things because you have a problem with it.
Robin’s already thinking about leaving the fandom because of crap like this. You should be ashamed of yourselves for treating artists (and writers) the way that you are. Especially when Robin has done so much for the fandom (remember the zine? They’re the reason that exists.)
The fact I’m friends with Robin is never going to change because some dude who can’t even show their account is in an ask telling me they’re ‘problematic.’ All over some internet bullshit.
Get some balls and show yourself or stop what you’re doing. You don’t have any ‘proof’ because Robin hasn’t done anything wrong.
I seriously thought this fandom learned its lesson from posting baseless accusations.
