Kido just knew drinking all of the “soda” that Kano had given her was a bad idea. Now their head was all fuzzy, and they couldn’t keep the grin off their face or even stiffle the giggles escaping from their lips.
Kido could feel that their face was warm, but had no idea if they were blushing or if it was the effect of the alcohol that was making their face red. And of course Kano had decided to disappear somewhere, leaving her alone in her apartment.
"S-stupid Kano…" Kido muttered, hiccuping slightly—Moving tostand.
Standing proved to be a challenge, and Kido found themselves stumbling forwards several steps.
"G-gonna beat him- HIC - up…”
Okay, so he had felt pretty bad.
Maybe it was because he couldn't lie, even to himself, so he couldn't suppress that bubbling feeling of... remorse? Yeah. That was it. So, he had gone to get some aspirin and cooling pads for the hangover that was destined to come, believing that Kido should be safe enough to be left alone for thirty minutes or so.
Nudging the door open with his foot, he peeked in, "Danchooou~? I'm back! You didn't pass out, did ya?"
He kicked the door closed once he walked in, placing the bags down and remaining on his guard. If Kano remembered correctly, Kido could be pretty unpredictable in this kind of... state.
Nonetheless, he laughed, and drawled lightly, "I'm here to take care of you~!"
