Fortunately for you, you really didn’t need help getting it down. You were an independent woman at the end of the day, but sometimes you wanted your man to feel like he was needed around the house. Especially because he did none of the cooking since…the incident. 

“Babe!” You shouted, turning with crossed arms. “Can you help me for a sec?” 

Around the corner, out from the hallway leading to your bedroom, came your boyfriend, who slid into the wall and caused a loud laugh to escape your throat at the scene. He was obviously more than eager to be of assistance, a huge smile on his face all the evidence you needed. 

Then soon enough he was in front of you, hands instinctively finding your hips as he awaited your request. His middle fingers pushed through the belt loops of your jeans as he splayed over the fabric, pulling you closer simultaneously. 

He stared so intently, hearts shooting from his eyes to every part of your soul. He’d seen it all; every little thing you had to offer on the table in front of him. But he was never picky, he’d choose all of you or none of you every time. 

“Can you grab that for me? You know, the one your mom got us when we moved in?” 

It was always that stupid smile that had you melting—that, damn near, shit-eating grin that never left his lips. And, it’s best you not even get started on the giggles that accompanied it. 

He was your weakness, and if that was a crime, you’d happily be locked up for life. 

Minkyun’s body pressed to yours as he reached above your head, fingers hooking into the dish you were wanting. Though right before he was about to take it down and give it to you, his head angled towards you. The distance was minimal—at best—not that you minded being mere centimeters apart with him anymore. 

“My payment?” A smile broke out across his features again. “What do I get in return?” 

“…Payment?” You echoed, unwrapping your arms and bringing them up to his cheeks. “You mean…this?” 

Your thumbs pressed into his dimples as the distance (the little that was there to begin with) began to close gradually until your lips met in the middle. 

And eventually, when you broke off, he let out a loud (dramatic) huff, bringing the porcelain to the countertop. He stood smugly in front of you still after you thanked him; almost like he still wanted something.

You eyed him curiously.

"My tip?"
