New students always presented new challenges for the instructor, and tutoring required unique plans. After this first meeting, Daxton would be able to better tailor lessons for Livās learning curve, but heād have to know the worst of her weaknesses first.Ā
After she met him at the door and he stepped inside, Daxton moved to the couch with the intention of setting up the supplies heād brought with him. But the first thing that caught his attention was a sketchbook on the coffee table, one he advised Liv to purchase for the sake of their sessions. A mild but approving smile pulled at his lips at the sight of it.Ā
With careful hands, he turned the cover and tucked it to the back, so the first page was facing up and ready to be worked upon. Then a sleek ruler, a couple of erasers, and an assortment of different pencils were pulled out from his bag and neatly arranged in a line.Ā
Finally, he set the bag aside and settled on the couch beside her. There was no better time to start then now.Ā
āSo. . .ā He picked up a regular mechanical pencil and offered it to Liv. Itād likely be more familiar and less daunting for her to use. āI want to see how bad these notoriousĀ stick figures are.āĀ
