Once upon a time, there was a handsome butler and a maid, completely in love with him. Neither of them was a noble - they were humble servants of a certain noble. The maid thought the butler didn't know about her feelings, the butler seemed to be deprived of any feelings at all.

But although for the maid it looked like a fairy tale, one could say it wasn't one. After all, the two weren't meant to be together, as it could seem, and even if they got together somehow, the end was not going to be happy. They wouldn't live happily ever after.
