Interviews and Burning Kitchens ~ One Direction
In which Niall posts a video of Y/n almost burning their kitchen. This imagine takes place around 2017. Obviously, Zayn never left the band and the sixth album of one direction has just come out!

“So Y/n”, James begins. You are sitting on your own this time, none of your best friends by your side, facing the famous host with a smile, fans cheering on their seats. “The guys new album came out”, he begins and the fans roar, you look at them and clap. “That’s right! So proud of them”, you state. When being interviewed on your own, apart from your own social life, they always ask about the boys, probably because you are the safest source. “One of the songs is written by you?”, he asks.
The fact that you can't sign is known by the whole world, your voice is terrible, but your writing skills..., that’s a hole different thing! You learned to play the guitar when you were six, and since then, became obsessed on composing melodies and creating lyrics to form songs. And you thank yourself!, because that’s the sole reason you have money to pay rent.
“Yes, I wrote a song in the album and helped Louis with another one”, you explain, instantly smiling as the fans cheer and clap. “And-, And Justin’s latest hit is written by you too?”, he confirms more than asks. You nod your head, proud of yourself. There is no denying that you have become famous for being the guys friends, but this, this is all you. “I need to say this girl, but you are on top of the game!”, he exclaims and the crowd follows him with cheers and claps.
“Well, thank you”, you say while smiling awkwardly, “things have been pretty crazy.” “Now that you mention crazy..., I actually wanted to talk to you about a thing Niall tweeted a few days ago...”, he begins and you sigh knowing exactly what he’s talking about, you hide your face against your hands as James laugh mischievously.
Niall had posted a video where your figure appeared with a wet cloth on your hand as you tried to burn down a fire you had started in the kitchen. “Niall! Help me! AAHH!” the video recorded your calls of alarm as Niall’s thick laugh sounded on the background.
“Niall wrote, ‘I let Y/n cook once and this is what happens’”, James quotes earning a laugh from the crowd as you shake you head embarrassedly. “You really are a bad roommate, aren’t you Y/n?” You laugh at him and wait for the fans to quiet down before you answer.
“I’m sorry but that video doesn’t do me justice!”, you exclaim and the host laughs at you, “Niall literally doesn’t do anything around the house. Fine, he cooks but that’s about it. I do everything else”.
Apart from being the besets friend of the band members, you share an apartment with Niall. The topic will always come up on interviews or be asked from fans because the stories you have are literally the funniest, and let’s not forget that Harry and Louis share an apartment too. But anecdotes from dirty dishes to finding a bra that’s not yours on the laundry pile are greatly known by the world.
“Okay-, okay”. James tries to calm down his laugh, “I believe you. However, you need to see this”, he takes from his desk a pile of pictures. And as soon as you see the first meme you hide yourself from the cameras as the crowd erupts again.
Niall will have a big problem coming his way as soon as you get back home.
