For some reason I had a period when I liked having coloured backgrounds, slap some white lineart onto it, and then put the colour on top of the lineart. It was... interesting, but really hard to recreate xD 

About the picture: once upon a jolly, more innocent time @oneamongathousand and I put our lovely boys Michael “Mischa” Sauvoun and Tolouse “Tolou” Corday in a sort of “The Little Mermaid” inspired story, letting Mischa be the lovely merman, and Tolou the human who has no clue that merfolk even exist. (They were adorable, like always <3 ).
