You've probably seen Arab.org's One-Click website appear a lot in the last five months. It's a site dedicated to aiding Palestine Refugees.
In July, August, and September 2023, there were a total of 14,026 clicks on said site, with an equivalent of 135,000 clicks added by Arab.org to support the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (or UNRWA). This payment is verified, and the 149,026 clicks became the equivalent of about 100 USD donated to UNRWA.
On October 7th, 2023, Hamas attacked Israel. And Israel retaliated not by hunting down Hamas, but by leading an over 5-month-long genocide against all Palestinians (and still counting).
In October, November, and December 2023, there were a total of 570,859 clicks by people ALONE. Arab.org only adds additional payments if their minimum threshold was not met. Those 570,859 clicks turned into 380.57 USD.
Thats 283% more money than last quarter's. And 3,970% more clicks.
Throughout the site's 8 year history, they were able to get 1,146,202 clicks before October 2023.
In just three months, we clicked half of the amount of money it took Arab.org to raise in its entire history prior to October 2023 (49.8%).
In just three months, we raised a third of every penny Arab.org was able to raise through our support (33.25%, including Oct 2023).
In just three months, we were able to raise almost 400 USD just by tapping a screen once every day.
