For a woman who took great pride in presenting herself in a certain light, the stranger's words were both alarming and quite embarrassing. Yuna knew then that she must have looked every bit of exhausted as she felt. Not the most inviting of looks, but she was sure that the vibrant-haired woman would be able to understand. “Is it that obvious?” Yuna laughed as she briefly covered the side of her face. “Everything that could go wrong did go wrong, so here I am. Attempting to drown my stress in beer. I am a firm believer that there is nothing that beer can’t fix.”
It wasn’t unusual for Luci to venture out on her own to unknown places near where she worked. Nothing like a beer to end a full day and this one had been a doozy. Seated at the bar her eyes drifted to the long haired woman next to her. She’d be lying if she didn’t say it was her hair that first did it, habit by then she’d say but it was as her eyes settled that she saw the look on her face. If there was anything her job taught her was catching the feeling of another without them saying a word. The question came out without real thought, was it her business? No. Did the woman want to be left alone? Probably. But when did Luci ever remember manners anyway. It would a be a skill living in Japan worked on teaching her. “I might be too observant is all!” The stylist chuckled as she pulled her short locks back, tying it up as if she was about to get serious. “One of those days it sounds like? I bet you most people here right now are trying to do the same thing. Anything you want to talk about or should I add a shot into that belief?” Taking a long drink of her own beer she turned towards the woman. “Name is Luci by the way, good to meet you!”
