Headcanons: Patterns and Secrets
Vairë is not like Mandos or Manwë. She does not receive the shared knowledge of Eru himself, the will of the Father, though some of this knowledge does come to her via her connection to Mandos. But she does know much more than she is usually given credit for knowing. When Vairë looks at the world, she does not see individual people and events, so much as she sees threads that are woven into patterns. By watching the threads weave and flow, patterns emerge that might not be obvious to anyone but a Weaver, anyone but a creature designed to see them. This is not an absolute knowledge, revealed fact, so much as it is a nearly infallible "intuition." She is simply quite good at actually seeing what is there to be seen.
So yes. The Weaver sees many things, including secrets you might rather she not know. But the things she knows she does not tell except in her tapestries…and there she only puts the things she’s told by fëar, not all the other things she might know as well.
