And Rejet has done it once again! I cannot get over how great this CD is - bringing me out of hiatus and posting on tumblr again xD Most of the romance is in the 2nd CD, with the first disc throwing a bunch of plot out at the listener. Shizuki, initially, does not seem to be a nice guy. Because the listener gets in the way of his work, he decides to use her as a tool, controlling and binding her with kotodama (the power of his words). He’s initially very harsh to MC, but slowly grows to like her.
The second disc was very sweet. Shizuki had an almost confession and an actual confession.
And, spoiler alert, but the last track was super sweet. I love how he gives into how love is irrational and how the MC responds to his unconventional confession. I was just expecting more of an after story. But hopefully Rejet does make a sequel, ‘cause I could really use more MC Shizuki romance lol. They were adorable (in how he gave into her) and need more!!!
For after listening to this plot-filled CD (and yes, the story is absolutely fantastic. Nowadays, I’ve been listening to too many drama CDs with poor plotlines, but this one kept me on my toes. And the onryou sounds actually scared me a bit, since I tend to listen to drama CDs in the dark when I should be sleeping). - I listened to Nakayoshishoutengai Koi no Yu Eigyouchuu (仲吉商店街 恋の湯 営業中!), which was actually a really nice, relaxing series to listen to after all the drama that is Anata no Nichijou wo Owaraseru. Short and sweet and no actually romantic development, but it made me laugh. So I do recommend that as well xD So far I like Misaki (v. 2) the most!
