There's no way to be totally objective in interpreting, there's no way we can really judge.. a session i brought at OMAH-Library for 40something first semester students from Podomoro University. Thanks to Yusni for accompanying me and to Pak Rich for the stage :)
Today i drove for more than 5 hours in total for the trip to Alm. Pak Silaban’s house in Bogor. He was one of Indonesian modernist architects. His house is cool and still intact. Amazing that in the frame, the certificate stating that Pak Silban was the member of IAI, was actually signed by Pak Silaban himself acting as the head of the organization. XD
The trip was arranged by Omah and guided by Pak Setiadi Sopandi.
Special thanks to my little sister, Jesslyn Patricia, who sang along with me so that the car rides were nothing but exciting. (She took a photo of me as i captured how she was being an astute student, sitting on the front row, paying attention with such a smile on her face. Hahaha)
This was two years ago. Gregorius Gerard, Realrich Sjarief, me, and Yusni Aziz. Look at my hair! It’s long now; yet, we’re still doing it at OMAH-Library. Now with more people, more thoughts, more power and dreams :) this is the after school place where you can still (totally) learn things about architecture like it was at school. You know, school, when you can go out for dinner with your friends everynight and ask the question, “whose turn is it to pay tonight?”, the place where giving is receiving, where we grow up (instead of grow old) together.
