The player finds mayor Bekios at the street

B: Take my maiden Smaragda to the dressmaker Despoinoula, make sure no one follows you, nobody should learn about it.

The player takes Smaragda to the dressmaker’s house and waits outside the door, where he/she hears the two women chatting

The two women talk a bit about the day and the weather till Despoinoula asks Smaragda to take her clothes of so to take her measurements.

Despoinoula notices that Smaragda’s belly is growing bigger since last time she made her a dress. Smaragda trying to convince her that she just gained some weight, but she breaks up and finally tells her that she is carrying Bekios’ baby.

  By the river

Despoinoula is feeling depressed of all that happened to her. Her parents took her little baby and the man she loves is now away. She goes to the river where she always feels better. She is sitting there right there thinking when a shady figure approaches her and tells her that he can make  her life better, the only thing that she has to do is to say yes and to know that it will come the time that he will be paid back.

She doesn’t think it at all, she wants a better life, no matter what, so she says “yes” and looks at the unknown figure’s face….
