~the alarm on your phone woke you.

~your eyes opened, but as you reach for your phone to turn off the alarm, two arms around your waist tightened.

~”mm~ not yet… let’s stay in bed just for five more minutes…”

~”just five more minutes.”

~you responded, turning off the alarm.

~yet even after those five minutes passed… you both remained in bed.

~the warmth of the blankets, and Solomon’s hold too comfortable to get up.

~more time passed… it had now been maybe half an hour since your alarm went off… you were fighting the urge to fall right back asleep.

~”hm~ why don’t we just stay home today… I can tell everyone we’re both sick, so nobody will bother us.”

~”if anything that’d just make the brothers worry about me and want ti come over later.”

~”well whatever reason we come up with, I’m not getting out of bed… and I’m not letting go of you either.”

~”hm.”

~you shifted a bit before rolling over to face Solomon.

~he smiled softly as he locked eyes with you, a hand moving from your waist to rest on the side of your neck.

~”that sleepy face, it just makes me want to spoil you… hm~ I don’t want you leaving my sight for the day. We can watch a movie… I’ll cook us breakfast—“

~”ah… maybe we should just order something…”

~”I suppose you’re right, what’s the point of a lazy day if I’m going to cook first thing in the morning?”

~his eyes softened as you pressed your face against his collarbone.

~”let’s go back to bed for now hm?”

~you could only nod as sleep claimed you once more.

~it was likely you’d wake up to a few dozen messages from the brothers questioning where you were… but Solomon’s grip was comfortable enough to not care about that.

~a heavy groan left your mouth as you basically fell onto the bed.

~this bed was already comfy as it was… but that only increased after a tiring day.

~you could hear Barbatos sigh as his eyes landed on you from across the room where he had been preparing for bed.

~”Though I understand your exhaustion after today… it was rather hot out…I’d prefer if you rinse off before sleeping to avoid getting your sweat on the bedding. I did wash them just last night after all…”

~you could only whine in response. You were too tired. Body not wanting to listen even when you tried getting more comfy on the bed. You didn’t have the energy to actually change into your sleep wear either.

~getting up what the last thing your body wanted to do. Your eyes closed.

~Barbatos’ gaze softened before he let out a soft ‘hm.’

~an arm slid underneath your torso, followed by another under your legs as Barbatos lifted you off the bed.

~He pushed open the bathroom door open with his shoulder, and sat you on the counter before flipping the light on.

~your eyes squeezed shut at the brightness, your hand coming up to rub your eyes.

~you felt Barbatos’ fingers brush the hair out of your face as his lips press against your forehead in a soft kiss.

~he pulled back with a soft smile.

~”it’s hard to tell if you’re even still awake…. Though that doesn’t matter, I’ll take care of you.”

~he turned on the tap for the bathtub, slipping the glove of his right hand off to test the temperature of the water.

~as the water filled the bath, he approached you once more, where you still sat upon the counter.

~his hands were gentle as they slipped off your clothes.

~Barbatos set the clothing aside, a hand then sliding up the side of your neck before he placed a small kiss to the side of your jaw.

~”You’re extra affectionate today…”

~you kept your eyes closed even as you spoke, Voice barely above a whisper.

~”Is that so?”

~as the bath finally finished filling, Barbatos turned the tap off, before lifting you up once more to then lower your into the warm water.

~a sigh escaped your lips as the warmth enveloped your body.

~he watched you for a moment then beginning to remove his own clothing, setting it aside.

~”May I?”

~he waited for your nod of approval before slipping into the bath behind you.

~his arms slid around your waist, chest to your back, lips pressing so the side of your neck.

~your head tilted to the side and slightly back to rest against his shoulder.

~”You truly are spoiled…”

~”you’re the one who chooses to spoil me so much….”

~”hm~”

~Barbatos pressed his face more into the side of your neck.

~”I spend all day dealing with a prince… just to come home.. and deal with what might as well be a second prince with how much he needs to be pampered…”

~”I don’t need to be pampered… you’re just insistent on doing everything for me…”

~he smiled and leaned back with a soft sigh, pulling you to lean against his chest, your back still facing him.

~one hand slid from your waist to gently scratch your scalp, his tail wrapping lightly around your right leg.

~you both lay there silently for a moment, though just as you began to drift off, Barbatos sat back up, bringing you to sit up aswell.

~”You’re falling asleep… we should clean you up so you may rest.”

~”mhm…”

~Barbatos wrapped a towel around your shoulders as you stepped out of the bath.

~”There we go dear, all clean… and falling asleep as I speak.”

~He chuckled softly, a hand caressing your face.

~He turned away, slipping on his sleep wear before turning his gaze back to you.

~your head was slowly tilting down as you struggled to keep conscious.

~his gaze softened a bit before he helped you into your own clothes, soon followed by him picking you up once more.

~by the time he placed you in bed, you had already fallen asleep.

~Barbatos leaned down, pressing a kiss to your lips.

~”Goodnight my dear~”

~He whispered softly to not disturb you as he slipped into bed beside you.
