Here are some sketches for the duos dynamic and their 3 stages of hauntings. Gary really doesnt want Ray to die and is trying to be better in death than he was in life, but hes a bit of an unstable ghost. Hank is desperate, betrayed, and lonely in his ghostly form and is trying to bring his friends to the other side, hes kinda sadako inspired. Barkovitch has some polti powers and can control his and others blood to some extent, although he doesnt really know how to do either of those skills on command. Hank can curse, give nightmares, injure, and posses, but hes only half there mentally and spiritually, Gary tries very hard to prevent his murderous tendency half the time, and joins in when he gets emotional.

For Hank I rlly like the idea he wears baggy clothes with a lot of pockets so he can carry a bunch of stuff around. Always got to be prepared!! + Always has his ID visible and ready to use. I also gave him a Yankees cap that he always uses as a ref to my fave fic and I do see him as a New Yorker!!!

I see his clothes being oversized too coz his closet is either clothes he’s thrifted or the majority of it being hand me downs from his brother + cousins.

Overall I see Hank as choosing practically over fashion. However, he does put an effort to present himself nicely

For Gary I always found it funny how he has so many costume changes in the movie despite it all being one outfit so I HC him as someone who wears a lot of layers all the time. Like the flannel on his waist he’ll probs wear later when he doesn’t want his jumper. Idk ig bro likes variety LOL

I don’t see Gary as fashion forward. He doesn’t put much thought into what he wears and cycles through the same few outfits, however his Blue Jacket remains a constant. It’s either the one Jacket he owns or smthing of sentimental value for him

Also rips on jeans coz he somehow rips them. Either from fights or other impulsive decisions he makes. His meemaw tries to patch them up but he rends up ripping them anyways

I need to scroll through Pinterest to get more outfit ideas but yeah their “base” outfits to me :3c!!
