#olnf step 1

The part 2 of my N&F nonsense. The ballet one is technically non-canon since she couldn't get a role, but a kid can dream. Some more Filo mcs with Fran. And since Fran is Filipino she for sure taught the boys club tinikling. Baxter and Qiu are dancers, so Tinikling would be easier for them than maybe Tammy and Derren...um they man the sticks ig ;;; Fran loves doing this even into adulthood.

About Them

Pyro is shy and introverted as a preteen. They get nervous when they are faced with having to bend/break rules.

Despite their reservations, their first priority is always taking care of their younger sister, Poppy, even if it happens at the cost of a few rules.

Being raised by a single mother means they often find themself habitually stepping up to take care of Poppy. They love mama, and they want to help her as much as possible, and if that means taking care of their sister while she's out, they're happy to do it.

They are constantly carrying around a book, and get visibly irritated when they don't have the comfort of one in their arms.

Relationships

Pyro doesn't treat Qiu and Tamarack as friends at first, considering them more as extensions of Poppy, their younger sister until later in step 1.

They stick around for most of the adventures that the trio goes on still, if only out of concern for their younger sister.

Pyro meets Ren when they are both placed in the same grade, sat beside eachother out of pure coincidence.

It's a surprise that Ren knows and has befriended their neighbour, seeing how stand-offish she'd gotten when Pyro had tried to awkwardly make conversation with their deskmate

The ice finally breaks in the conversation of invitation to the boy's club, where Pyro - when even suggested the notion, blows up and bursts out in an irritated insistence that they are not a girl.

Baxter is confusing. They can smell the haughty rich kid on him the moment they see him, and his effortless demeanor is slightly intimidating.
