In the aftermath of the wreck, everything had been hectic and busy. After getting released from the ER just less than 24 hours after arriving, Jaime had done what he could to get as far away from the hospital, and Charlotte, as possible. He’d returned home to find his apartment severely water damaged, and paired with the cost of crashing in motels for a couple of nights and being required to take 4 weeks off from work, Jaime was about as broke as he’d ever been. Luckily, being together in a damn near fatal car crash had done wonders for his budding friendship with Liv (despite Romeo’s attempts to scare Jaime away from her), so he was waiting eagerly for her arrival with food and entertainment for the evening.
Needless to say, Jaime’s extroverted personality was dying slowly from having to stay home so much. No car, limited mobility, and a perpetual headache apparently does that to a person. “Oh, thank god you’re here,” Jaime groaned from the couch, after having told Liv to just come on in when she got there. “Boredom is murdering me more slower and painfully than anything else could. Please, pray tell - what have you brought for me? I am also starving.”
