"You should just expect hate, it is the internet."
I get that and at the same time it just sounds like "get over it." Which is never a good thing to say to anyone who is upset. I personally go from sad or angry at something else to fucking pissed at the person who tells me to get over it or anything remotely closed to it.Ā
No, you don't have to expect hate or put up with it. It is true that people use the anonymity of the internet to do harm to others because it is easy, it is really easy to be cruel and hateful to someone over the internet because 1. you don't see the person you are hurting and 2. most of the time you don't have to answer to any consequences assuming you are already a peice of shit with no conscienceĀ to tell youĀ later "wow that was a shitty thing you did."Ā
It is easier to dehumanize the person you are sending hate to when it is just a blog on the internet thus these cowards see fit to shower hate down upon others. If they did it in real life they might get punched in the fucking face, someone would return the abuse back to them or they would get in trouble for harassment and have to face the consequences.Ā
Olive, if I were you I would either cut anon off or install a know anon app so you can catch the motherfucker and report them. I worked for a site owned by Acclaim Games and if they think they can just make another blog and keep that shit up, let them find out the hard way what IP tracking and blocking is.Ā
Anon hate is sadly a part of tumblr but you don't have to put up with it and just keep deleting it though that is better than answering it. I have not seen any of your anon hate so I know you must have been deleting it this whole time but if they continue than there is something seriously fucking wrong with them and it needs to stop because you don't deserve it.Ā
