Ok first off: i actually was thinking of that yesterday? So can PLEASE tell your illuminati spies to get off my property? Or I’ll have to wear my tinfoil hat to ward them off.

anyway short answer: i don’t really have any!

Long answer. VERY long answer.

I tend to have ‘Moods’ when it comes to characters in general, and my OCs are not exception. Those Moods can last a few hours as they can last months (and even years for that one character)- it’s VERY random and i can do very little to control them- i won’t have any motivation to draw anything that doesn’t relate to the Mood. If anything, noticed how i rarely redraw my OCs? You can thank the Moods for that! I VERY often have Moods about a character i haven’t posted yet- so i do their ref picture. But as soon as i finish it, i tend to get sastified and/or another mood. VERY annoying, as you can guess. There’s so much of my Ocs i’d like to redraw, but gotta obey the moods to enjoy what i do.

And those Moods actually influences who my favorite is- i just can’t decide, because those change my way of thinking. And, when i do OCs, i don’t post them until i’m at LEAST 90% satisfied with their design/concept/personality, unless stated otherwise. So as a result, i tend to love them all equally, even during Moods.

But that being said… I’ll try to pin point the ones that are especially meaningful to me.

Cherry and Olive.

I posted those two only once- but oh boy. Those two really mean a lot to me. As said in the post, i’ve had them since 2015- making them the 2nd oldest OCs i posted (the 1rst being Cycloplasm- 2013!!) And uuuh.. Let’s just say that 2015 wasn’t really a happy year for me, when it began? I kinda lost interest in everything- until i got the dream i talked about in the post. As SOON as Cherry appeared, i just… KNEW! He was going to be an Oc i was REALLY going to enjoy. Even when i couldn’t figure out his design, i had that feeling lol. And boy was i right! Cherry is still to this day an OC i really enjoy ‘writing’ (i don’t write but idk how else to express it). And Olive was made soon after Cherry had a design i was satisfied with- at this point, there wasn’t the concept of fruitbugs yet, so initially.. Olive was going to Cherry’s rival. And it’s pretty funny to me, how he started out as a rival to one of my most extroverted OCs, to what he is today- a boy who can’t express anything besides sadness and self-loathing over being unused. So in 2015, i had those two OCs (and actually another one that i still haven’t drawn digitally to this day- dem karakter skillz rite) keeping me happy for a good while! It was really enjoyable. I’ve drawn them a lot in 2015, and i hope one day i’ll have the time to draw their ‘friend’ and to draw all three of them together again!

Quibris and Cedra.

Kind of makes sense to have them here! Those two aren’t the in-universe creators of my world, Futh, for nothing, lol. I created them ‘recently’, 2017, even though Futh has been on my mind since 2013. But hhhgg i have so much stuff about them i still haven’t shared/don’t know how to explain yet!! And i love making them interact too- i have yet to find a satisfying way to represent it visually, but it’s just. Very genuine and they don’t agree on everything, but in the end they deeply love each other platonically. I haven’t mentioned it, but when they were bigger than the planet itself, it was sometimes possible to see their hand holding throught the sky/atmosphere, and seeing that was a sign of great luck and success. I just love them so much, idk how to even explain lol…

this is a thing I started in 2015 after a dream i had; in it, i was playing a dating sim, and the character asked ‘do you love me?’ with yes or no answers, i said no and the character transformed into a giant centipede man and destroyed my phone. i found it cool so i wrote it down and went back to bed lol.

So anyway this is something called ‘Fruitbugs’ and it’s going to be a series of characters based on both a fruit and a bug, meant to be dating sim characters. In their universe, they’re part of a dating sim game created by some guy who thought it’d ‘be cool’ if he wrote his game’s coding with various spells, resulting in the characters being sentient within their virtual world. Those two were the first ever created back in 2015; Cherry and Olive

Cherry Bond was the very first fruitbug ever created; this is the case in his universe as well. He, as a result, watched as his creator kept making other characters, and learnt some coding skills; he uses them to explore his virtual world. When he’s not messing with his own game’s code, Cherry is a *very* popular character within the community of people who play the Fruitbugs dating sim; because when he’s loved, he’s the perfect prince charming; devoted, polite, kind… But if he’s ever denied *anything*, he’ll get enraged and reveal his true form (he’s a feather-tail centipede!) and corrupt the device on which the game was downloaded on. He especially enjoys corrupting phones; he hates the idea of players having ‘IRL’ lovers… He’s a very jealous person; he hates all his fellow Fruitbugs, because he feels like they’re ‘stealing’ his potential lovers. Except for one!
