In my opinion, when you are eligible to upgrade, get the best Android, iPhone, BlackBerry or Windows  smartphone you can buy today.
Don’t wait until this summer for what the experts are telling you will be the best Android/iPhone/BlackBerry/Windows smartphone to date. You’ll likely find yourself impressed at first, only to find yourself disappointed when the next Best SmartPhone in the World arrives in the fall.
So upgrade as soon as you are allowed, or whenever it is that you qualify for an upgrade. Remember, you can cancel your plan with @Rogers anytime ($12.50 fee applies), and you just have to buy out your hardware cost, no early cancelation fees apply.
There will always be a better phone, car, appliance, or computer that comes out. You need to dive in at some point.
