Do you remember this emo drawing from 2006?! It's called "hugz", it was made by reniedraws and I wanted to draw it a fanart because it was my wallpaper on my little Motorola with a keyboard from 2009 and a classic of digital art on the internet xD 💗Thank you, Irene!🖤
✨Desc✨ I was heavily inspired by Riko Sakari’s Figure You Out MV and made this :3 Highly recommend checking the video out on YouTube, it’s such a visual pleaser -- at least, in my opinion A lot of the assets here excluding the characters are stock images I downloaded online, if that wasn’t already clear enough lol. I was going for an aesthetic scrapbook kind of look here, and I saw that a lot of aesthetic scrapbookers tend to use a lot of screentones and seemingly premium(?) stickers when they scrapbook, so I also tried to replicate the sticker look by putting white borders around the thorns and roses I also wanted to imply that the drawings were all done on paper before getting “stuck” onto the canvas so I used a different brush to draw and texture them with. I’m pretty happy with how they turned out ngl Perhaps in the future I’ll make another one of these, because this was genuinely so fun to make akjsnlfkn
