Last night I didnt fair too well with my choice of beers. Tonight though I came up a winner. This is exceptional! So much I am going to have a third. Do you remember waking up on a frosty fall morning, groggily rolling out of bed to get ready for school, looking for that failing spelling test you still had to get signed. You felt a little bit panicked. Maybe you tried to decide whether or not to fake a stomach ache. Then you smelled the toast your mom is preparing in the kitchen. You went to the kitchen to find sunny side eggs, nice and runny, crisp rye toast with plenty of butter. Well, that is Old Bust Head’s Shorthorn American Pale Ale. It is a perfect beer for a Wednesday morning before school. The first thing I noticed was the smell of toast. After tasting it, it was like crispy rye bread and slightly salted butter in my mouth.
