Redid the Tiansei colour renders because the old ones were kinda crap no you can't see the old ones I can't be bothered to find them just imagine it's these but the shading is super jank.

I'm nice so I'll put the old colour renders at the bottom of this post. What I'll also do is post the Durkuat infodump that I skipped because it didn't have any new art.

Heyyy did I ever tell you guys about Durkuat? They're actually a pretty important part of the story, I can't believe I haven't mentioned them before. So Durkuat is a corrupted form of Nori. 1000 years ago they were cursed when a sorcerer attached an enchanted iron beak onto Nori. In this cursed state, Durkuat's only objective was to destroy as much as possible. A battle ensued between Durkuat and Chana, with the end result being Durkuat being banished to Platzen with their magic drained. Fast forward to present day. Durkuat had spent the past millenia gaining back every bit of strength they could. With this strength, they open a portal between Platzen and the human world, intent on destroying as much of humanity as they can. And to explain what happens next, I'll have to explain the plot of Flickering Out, the story I'm "writing" that ties all this together. That's an infodump for another day though, as this post is long enough as is.

I won't hide it like I did on Instagram. These are part of a non-canon Don't Starve crossover AU that I might elaborate on later, but don't hold your breath. Basically at the very end Sonwy and Atsume become Tiansei to stop the Constant's magic from invading Platzen.

I don't have a good explanation for this. "I don't care what gender you are, put on the maid outfit"

So for my first proper drawing of the year I've decided to draw God. You know God, right? Ruler of Platzen, creator and spectator of the Nymphvallien Universe, the only being higher than a Tiansei? Y'know, that God. Fun fact I created this character in Year 5 when I needed a dragon for a short story assignment. In that story was a small drawing of a mustachioed dragon (the mustache was important to the story I'm sure) and then the design remained unchanged for the next eight years. But recently I've felt that a somewhat aggressive looking, solid form dragon didn't suit Taihim's ethereal, unjudgemental nature. So I've turned them into more of a matronly angel of light, subsisting and consisting mostly of magic. They're very warm, if you hugged them it would feel like hugging a heat lamp. I might draw them from other angles at some point, I don't think this one really shows off the three heads and detached wings very well. Oh, and their "arms" can meld into their body, cause it's not exactly solid, but also not really a liquid either. I've been referring to Taihim and "they" thus far but they don't really have pronouns (they don't have a gender either). They don't have any particular use for them, or even a name, so they go by whatever humanity decides to call them.

The main reason it took so long for this to be posted here is that I really thought I would've drawn the other angles by now.

This was my last post before I deleted everything off my Instagram account. And to celebrate I think I should add on some pictures of the old Taihim design. AKA "The Guy" AKA "Smuffywuffypoofysmuts."

Yeah neither of those names are canon anymore.

I named this collection "Our Shared Declining Mental State." I named it that in 2020 when my mental state was declining, now my mental state is fine and I don't know what to call it. There's a... there's a metaphor somewhere here with the threads and his mental state and connection to reality, but I kinda forgot what it was or how to explain it.

I believe Koekia got the biggest glow up out of all the Elemental Tiansei. I mean what does the below image really tell you about Koekia? "It's yellow, got spikey patterns on it's body, idk maybe something to do with electricity?" Now look above. That thing looks like it flies with agility and generates lightning with its tail. And that's because it does.
