inside me there are two wolves. one is proclaiming that asher is adrian and also gawain. the other is yelling at me that adrian is lancelot. except there's also a secret third wolf who is convinced that caleb degare is lamorak and got eaten by demon-sent werewolves.

Well, if it's already in the game then it's already up for discussion. (The only thing I'd want to hide behind spoilers is something digged up through the code itself.) Not that I'd confirm anything, of course. But you're the only one so far who's brought up that potential connection.
Regarding romance... you're going to have to hunt him down first (Gawain, Asher, Both, Neither, Same Person or Not?) to see.
