Black Mesa State Park

... On July 13, 2013 I took a road trip to Boise City and then on to the Black Mesa State Park. I had been there the same weekend after July the 4th of 2012 and the lake was almost completely dry. This spring there have been some good rains in the area and the runoff has put a lot of water into the lake. Being a state park, the lake is stocked with trout when the water level warrants it. It is a very scenic area more like New Mexico than Oklahoma. There is another area of interest at the Black Mesa summit, north of Kenton but I will save that for another video.
