You know there's nothing like a bit of draconic romance, with fun dragon biology influence along the way!!!

Behold a Lech in his youth and his to be wife, Okeana!!

Dragons are similar to birds of prey taking on one primary life partner, however this isn't strictly as a mate! Due to the lifespans and low number maintenance of dragons (before their functual extinction), reproduction isn't necessary, but it's an innate behaviour to be drawn to having one main companion across species, as it expands territory size and reduces competition, at least a bit. So this means it can be friends, family, or some other form of company you're trusting enough to to share space (however not all dragons do this! It's just a common behaviour, and is more common across solitary individuals rather than hoard species).

Another thing like BoP is females are usually larger than males of the same species, or equal in size, and are usually more aggressive. Lech is a the traditional fire breathing dragon (also referred to as the true dragon, and Draconus draconus* - latin name pending) so he's just naturally larger than her in general.

Okeana more commonly remains in her true form, being a semi-aquatic species, using it to her advantage for hunting in the waters. Her scars come from her hunting and fighting competition, which is why there's so much around her mouth (and in comparison Lech has more around his neck, inner wrists, ankles, and underbelly regions rather than face as his form has softer skin there).

As fierce as she was she was also deeply enamoured by Lech's 'human' nature. Dragons are generally greedy which is what gives them their plural name of hoards, but Lech was uncharacteristically generous, and compassionate (even for people standards lol), but he still did not let things slide when they crossed his boundaries, becoming violently protective (which you know, she found attractive as hell, who doesn't like a man snarling and soaked in blood). Man. Would've been a great dragon dad. Such a shame she-//SHOT

Okeana and Grimm are Old Friends, despite being total opposites. She enjoys his theatrical nature, and he respects her grace and poise.
