Day 19, Boss Fight
Blight
I’ll be completely honest and admit this drawing kicked me in the mental butt while making it. I didn’t have a lot of fun drawing it but I’m happy I pushed through to the finish.
While blight isn’t my favorite boss, he’s definitely one not really talked about. To be fair though his entire thing is he’s an evil illness. Not much to talk about.
Ok so I'm playing okami and oh my god I love blight's design. The lore too. A sword named goldnail being used in thousands of battles? Being bathed a thousands of men's blood? Becoming sentient and evil? Slay.
LOOK AT THIS MOTHERFUCKER. THIS DUDE POISONED AN ENTIRE CITY FROM WITHIN THE EMPEROR'S BODY AND LOOKED COOL WHILE DOING IT.
“There are two of us in this city! How did they slip away!?”

For some odd reason i like to headcanon that if blight was an insect, he would be a moth.
Yeah i said i had weird okami headcanons.
But part of the reason is that:
A. I forgot the name, but there was a species of moth that had a skull symbol on them. And there is also the calyptra, moths that drink blood. I know blight is not vampire or skull related, but cmon. Moths are perfect demon potential.
B. Blight is like a mist right? He would have his fluff green as if to represent his mist.
C. Smol.
Design wise, he would obvi be armored and anthromorphic. His face would look like a bandit spider's (soul piercing eyes, mouth full of sharpteeth.) He would also have a tounge that he can drink blood from. His antanea(did i write it right?) Would look like horns long, but really are not. He would have 4 arms, and his wings would have the skull symbols. As for the color scheme, he could stay green.
In short, he would look like the normal blight, except a demonic moth.
