everything that came before, everything after. how useless my perception of it really was. a boundless compassion and willingness to reason with evil and greed, born not out of naive love but out of detached curiosity.

yes. and i saw the threads of society. how they bound our every thought, not seen but always heard, hidden in innocent preference and prejudice, permeating everyone around me.

the same songs, the same entertainment, all in service of an uncaring, sadistic status quo that relished on the suffering of its fellow man. woman and creature. its eternity.

i can only scream and cry, waiting for something to fill that empty void inside. that neverending rot inside me, poisoning my lungs and heart, eating me alive.

and you think i would have the audacity, the gall, to ask for more? what "more" can be asked, what wish can be granted? we have been quintillions of humans before, none had their prayers answered, as they cried their hearts out at a wall!

what profound entitlement makes you think it can get better? do you actually think you deserve anything other than the food you eat and the air you breathe? you have to earn those too, you know?

i don't care if you think it's dumb. im just tired of hurting every day. the fact you think it's some sort of noble burden is even more baffling. it's not fair. none of this is fair.

i know what you'll say next.

there is nothing beyond the veil but another wall. no higher power, no Jesus, no God, no Nirvana, it's all a lie. you have been praying to a wall.

now get back to work, you miserable, good for nothing machine. you better perform your role with a little more gusto next time.
