the eternal struggle
honestly the most important thing to know when studying ancient greek is all of the exclamations of woe so that when you cry because you’re taking greek, you can take some comfort in the fact that you at least know how to show your pain in greek
Fucking finally. Couple is now texting me about things that fall into the nsfw category. Heavens be praised, I was about to give up on them!
• Back in Sonora. Exhausted. • Listening to the Sia album (1000 forms of fear) and really enjoying it. • Guy on okcupid wrote "one dick, two nipples, three strands of hair" on his self summary. It is sticking with me even though I passed on his profile long ago.

I'm strongly considering going off to the adorkable little tea house (they fixed their website, thank god!) for lunch, by myself, with nothing but Mindy Kaling's book loaded on my ipad and a strong sense of "I hate everything about this county, except maybe this tea house" independence.
I mean, I've showered, and I have to go out anyway to pick up my prescription, so what's a drive over to the next town to drink tea and eat delicious sandwiches really gonna cost me? Answer: nothing, save for the price of the sandwich and tea! And that's totally worth it.
Violent self-care mode activated, I guess.
It's raining, it's pouring...
I'm super tired, and being back in the city (my city) is a lot more rough than I thought it was going to be. Like, even just staying home and watching le bébé is rough, but before I moved to Sonora, I could always go home after my 8 hour shift and sleep in my bed and be home.
I'm feeling a little displaced, I guess.
ok at this point i just don't even know any more
i have participles down, except for first aorist, which we DID NOT LEARN (and yet is still on our review sheet... i think/hope that's a mistake)
i can decline πόλις and αστυ for the most part....
i still have to learn three other conjugations
and perhaps what the hell the difference between an attributive/substantive participle is
on the plus side, this is only worth 25% of my semester grade? my midterm was worth 20% by comparison, so?
