I made a simple side project :) A Aburetsubo (oil dispenser thingy to take care of your tools :) Paul Seller uses one too and I’ve used a smaller one for years now but wanted a bigger one for quite some time now :) I got this tea container for 0,99€ and while it doesn’t suit my taste as a tea container I feel that its looks and it having a lid makes it a perfect choice for the workshop :)
I used some brass sheet metal that I had laying around in my workshop and made a separate compartment because I also wanted to have an oil reservoir for a brush so :) I think making the whole thing took about 20 minutes :D I’m not satisfied with how the rolled up rags look but i think I can come up with a better solution until they are used up :)
To make it easier to put on the lid I made a small hole in it to vent the air that gets pushed out when you put it on or take it off :)
Overall I’m happy with the result and I think it will do me a great service around the workshop but I want to improve some details later on :)
