I bought more Vinyl Showa dolls..
..the Oike brand ones, Soft Vinyl Plastic with basic doll articulation.
I rly don't care having multiples of dolls so I am still up for buying/adopting more.

Above is an Oike Sun-chan doll. They are not that rare on the Philippine 2nd hand market.
I already have a couple. I..don't have the time to photograph and clean them yet.
But, most are Cloth bodied ones. And I prefer full vinyl as I don't have to worry about dirt sticking to the body.
Oike Japan did competed versus other plastic makers during the Showa era but stopped now.
They now make solely industrial plastic and vinyl products.
My theory is losing the lawsuit against Takara regarding their attempt at a 1/6 fashion doll (Chelsea) became a setback for doll making.
