Nepal to get internet connection from china ending India's monopoly. Nepal was fully dependent on Indian telecom companies like Tata communications and Bharati Airtel for internet services using fibre connections. Now Nepal has joined hands with china to offer internet services to its citizens, ending India's decade long monopoly of Nepal's cyber connectivity network. It is expected that initial speed of the internet by Chinese fibre link will be 1.5 Gigabit per second , less than that of 34 GBPS by India however it will have a huge impact on India. Recent tie ups include allowing to use Beijing's port by Nepal to do trade goods with third countries. Nepal also joined "Belt and Road initiative" which is China's endeavour to develop modern silk road. #IndiaNepalChina #OIAtitbit #officersIASacademy #NepalChina
