if yesterdays could talk | Chapter 1
Early morning.
“Your boss is fucking weird. For a moment, he was just staring at me for what felt like forever. Fucking creep…”
Nikita lit up a cigarette. “Shut up, Alina.”
“So… umm…” I crossed my arms. “You like her?” I asked and started tapping my feet nervously.
“Who?” He frowned.
“Who who, are you a fucking owl?!” I snapped. “The daughter. Let me thin- Yana, that’s her name? So, you two fuck?”
“That’s none of your business.” He answered and continued smoking not even being bothered.
“Oh yeah?!“ I shot back. “Then why you have been blowing up my phone for the past month, huh?! I took your precious phone earlier and saw that you’re a fucking stalker!”
“For fuck sakes, ALINA!” He shouted. “Is there any boundaries that you don’t fucking cross?!”
“N-“ He continued.
“You fuck me over! You steal! Now you just casually take my phone!”
I rolled my eyes. “In my defence - I was just left unsupervised.”
“That’s your excuse?! You’re so careless with your actions! Fucking junkie!”
“Listen, asshole! I didn’t ask you to take care of me alright?!”
He sighed. “This is fucking bullshit!”
“Listen, I just wanted to know if you were ok…”
“Oh really? I thought you were interested in someone else.”
“HUH?!” His tone got louder again.
I murmured “Fucking player” in Russian.
“What are you talking about?! Are you jealous or something?!”
“No!” I nervously shot back. “Besides, nobody bothers someone at night to ask how they’re feeling!”
“I-“
“Ugh, whatever.” I interrupted him.
“You’re so fucking complicated…” He sighed.
“Fuck you!” I showed him the middle finger. “Oh, and while I’m here - I saw there’s a bath - I’ll be there. You’ll wait, right? K, byeee.” And I walked out of the room not even waiting for his answer.
