"... -chan... (-/N)-chan... (Y/N)!"
You awoke with gasp then a cough, feeling water rushing up your throat. "Oh my gosh! (Y/N)-chan! You're okay!" You felt slim but strong arms throw themselves around your shoulders. "Ugh... I feel as okay as I can be." You said, rubbing your eyes then looking to see the person hugging you.
"Honey? What happened?" You asked. With teary hazel eyes, he responded, still hugging you. "We got washed away by a tidal wave and ended up here. I pulled you out of the water and you weren't breathing! I had to give you CPR!" More tears started to fall from the males eyes. You promptly wiped them away, "Oh gosh, I'm sorry, Honey."
"Why are you apologizing? It's not your fault." He sniffled. "Well, you had to deal with that by yourself. I'm sure it was scary. I know I would be if I were in your shoes." You comforted. You then looked to your surroundings, seeing thick jungle foliage. "Uh... do you happen to know how to get to the others?"
Honey stopped crying, looking around also. "Um... no. But I have a feeling we should go this way!" He stated, shooting up to his feet and pointing in a random direction. You stood also, "Okay... I'm trusting you." Honey smiled, "Don't worry, (Y/N)-chan. I'll get us back safely!" He confidently smiled. You couldn't help but to smile also, "Okay!"
Honey started leading the way, pushing leaves and vines out of the way for you, "Stay close, (Y/N)." He said, voice calm. 'Woah, I don't think he's ever called me just by my name. He always adds chan to the end.' You couldn't help but blush, your heart racing a little.
"This way," Honey then said, taking ahold of your hand. 'Its so weird to see this serious side of him. Its kind of... nice. And his hand... has it always been this big?' Usually, you never pay attention to his hand size when he would grab yours. But being in this potentially dire situation alone with him, has you observing more things about the blonde male. Honey was a few inches shorter than you, so you were kind of surprised to see his hand slightly larger than yours.
'Wait a second,' You thought, brining your free hand up to your lips. 'He said he gave me CPR. Does that technically count as my first kiss?'
"(Y/N)-chan? You okay?" Honeys words brought you out of your daydream. "Oh! Yeah, just thinking." You nervously chuckled out, blush darkening. "Hm... alright. But if you want to talk about anything, I'll be here to listen." Honey said, warmly smiling at you, eyes crinkling. With this view and the glow of the sun, you felt an arrow hit your heart, making it flutter. 'Has he always been this cute!?' "U-Uh... y-yeah, th-thanks." You stuttered. Honey giggled, "Its no problem! Now, let's go!" He pulled your flustered self along.
*Meanwhile*
"Gentlemen, we're going after (Y/N) and Honey-senpai!" Tamaki shouted, then pointed to a long-length, wavy pool. "That pool looks like the quickest way! Charge!" Tamaki, Haruhi, Mori, and the twins all started running in said direction with a shout. "Wait! I wouldn't go-" Kyoya started to call, but stopped when the other 5 teens were cut off by multiple alligators climing out of one of the pools, "Ahhh! There are alligators in there!"
After regrouping at a safe distance, Tamaki once again shouted, "Okay, so we can't use that pool! Then lets try this way next!" He pointed in the opposite direction, only to be met with more alligators. "They're here too!" The twins yelled, trying a different direction. "And here!" Haruhi exclaimed, no luck in her direction. After, once again, running to regroup in a safe spot, Haruhi panted out, "What's with all the alligators?" Tamaki responded with a pant, "Beats me."
While leaning against a tree and writing in his notebook, Kyoya calmly explained. "Those alligators belong to the park's tropical animals exhibit. I guess it is kind of dangerous to let them run wild. Though, the cause of our present situation seems to be the location of the switch for the current pool. I'll have to have a little chat with our designers." The male shuts his notebook, smiling, "Thanks a lot, you guys. I got some great data today."
"You what?!" The other teens, except for Mori, shouted, angry. "Kyoya, how can you be like that right now?!" Hikaru started, infuriated. "Especially with (Y/N)-senpai lost somewhere out there!" Kaoru finished, just as upset as his brother. Kyoya paused, then sighed, reluctant to say what he was about to say. "Because... I know that Honey-senpai won't let anything happen to her."
All of the teens went silent at the ravenettes words, knowing that they were true but couldn't help to still worry. "Here, follow me." Kyoya gestured, leading the group of teens to a bulliten board near the changing rooms.
"This is a map of the Tropical Aqua Garden. This is our current location. We need to get here, I have a feeling that's where (Y/N) and Honey-Senpai probably ended up. It might be tough, because to get there, We'll have to make it through this jungle area here in the southern block. Distance-wise, we're talking about 800 meters." Kyoya explained, taking the end of his pen to show the other teens what exactly he was talking about.
"Looks like there are a lot of undeveloped areas. Any idea what might be lurking in those parts of the jungle?" Haruhi asked, looking to the ravenette. "Since they're still being develpoed, I'm afraid I don't know." Kyoya responded. "Whatever's out there could be even more dangerous..." Hikaru started while Kaoru finished. "Than alligators."
"Alright!" Tamaki started, brining the ramaining teens into a huddle. "Now, this is a mission of survival! I know we can make it through the treacherous jungle in one piece. It is our sworn duty to save (Y/N) and Honey-Senpai!"
*Meanwhile*
"I hope every one isn't worrying too much." You said, refering to the rest of your friends. "I'm sure they're fine!" Honey gave your hand a reassuring squeeze. "They're probably on their way to find us, so let's try to meet them half way." You smiled, "Right!"
Trudging through thick foliage and jumping over muddy ditches and tree logs was starting to take it's toll on you. At this point, it felt like Honey was practically dragging you. "Honey-Senapi, I'm sorry, but could we take a break?" You asked, slightly breathless. The blonde male stopped and turned to you, "You feeling tired, (Y/N)-chan?" You blushed, embarrased, "Y-Yeah..."
Without batting an eye, Honey turned his back to you and got down on a knee, "That's okay! I can carry you the rest of the way, piggy-back style!" He said with a giggle. Your blush darkened and eyes widened, "W-What?! N-No! I-I'm too heavy!"
"(Y/N)." Honey's calm voice made you pause your fluster. "I wouldn't have offered to carry you if I knew I couldn't. I've carried men twice my size and weight in my training." Then you remembered, "Oh... that's right. You do karate and judo." The blonde giggled once again, "Yup! That's right!"
"Um... okay, only is you're really sure." You said with unease while placing your hands on Honey's shoulders. "100% positive!" Said male confidentally smiled. Wrapping your arms fully around Honey's shoulders, you place one leg around his waist, his hand immediatley clasping onto your knee. Before you could wrap your other leg around his waist, the blonde stood up and searched for your knee with his hand, bringing it around naturally. "Hang on tight, (Y/N)-chan!" The male giggled, before taking off in a jog. "W-Woah!" You shouted, surprised at Honey's sudden speed.
Though, just a few minutes later, thunder rang out throughout the jungle. Immediatley after, it started to pour rain. "Uh-oh! The grass is going to get really slippery because of the rain! We should find some place to take cover until this is over!" You shouted over the sound of the rainstorm.
Without responding, Honey looked to his surroundings. "There!" He shouted, facing a large tree with a thick stump. Honey ran towards it, finding an area of the stump where we would be safe from the downpour. The male kneeled down and let you climb off his back, the both of you sitting down against the stump.
The both of you were silent for a moment, just staring at the rain. Eventually, you shivered. "You okay, (Y/N)-chan?" Honey questioned with a look of concern. "Y-Yeah," You reply, wrapping your arms around yourself. "It's just being in the shade of this tree after getting rained on has made me a little chilly." You end with a chuckle.
Without saying anything, Honey smoothly slid over to your side, wrapping both of his arms around your shoulders and rubbing his hands against your arms. You froze, face heating up, 'I don't think I've ever been this intimate with someone before.' "I'm sorry I can't provide that much heat since I'm so small. But once I hit my growth spurt, I'm sure I'll be able to warm you up no problem!" Honey said with a giggle.
'Why am I getting a mischevious air from him right now?' You suspiciously thought. 'Anyway...' "That's okay, Honey. Th-This works." You said, leaning a little more into him, trying to keep your heartbeat in control. The male giggled in response, his hold tightening on you.
*Time Skip*
"Looks like the rain finally stopped. C'mon, (Y/N)-chan!" Honey said, kneeling down for you to climb onto his back again. You did just that, and the male took off, avoiding all kinds of animals, ditches, and fallen branches.
After a few minutes of jogging, Honey stopped in his tracks. "What's the matter?" You ask. "Do you hear that?" The blonde responds. You go quiet, listening. "Are those... footsteps?" Honey nodded, "Yeah, sounds like a lot of them. They sound too heavy to be our friends, but they might lead us to them."
Your eyes widen, "You were able to gather all of that? That's amazing..." Honey looked over his shoulder to you and gave a large smile, giggling. "Alright! Let's go!" He shouted, racing off towards the footsteps.
When the two of you got close enough to the sounds, you both heard a familiar voice. "I think that was Haruhi! Is she in trouble?" You said, already worried for your new friend. "Hmm..." Honey started, looking to his surroundings again. Once his eyes landed on a nearby tree, he approached it. "Hang on tight, (Y/N)-chan!" You raised your eyebrow in confusion, "What? Why-!" You were cut as Honey started to quickly climb the tree, tightening your hold on the blonde.
After climbing almost all the way to the top, right before the leaves thickened, Honey stopped, placing you safely on a branch. "Woah, I guess I really do weigh nothing to you." You mumbled in astonishment. The male giggled, pleased with your reaction.
You both look down to see a clearing, and in the clearing was Mori holding Haruhi, the two surrounded by men dressed in tactical gear, guns aimed. "Oh my gosh! Honey! We have to do something!" You shouted, fearing for your friends safety. Just then, one of the armed men took ahold of Haruhi's arm. Without hesitation, Mori punched the guard, sending him flying through the air and into some bushes.
"The suspect is resisting! Prepare to fire warning shots!" A different guard shouted, causing the others to cock their guns. Your hands flew to your mouth as you gasped, "Oh no!" You jolted when you felt a hand touch your shoulder. Looking to your side, you make eye contact with Honey's hazel orbs. In his eyes and soft smile was comfort and confidence, "Wait here (Y/N)-chan, I'll take care pf this."
Seamlessly, the blonde took ahold of a nearby vine and yelled, "Takashi! Haru-chan! Out of the way!" With a war cry similar to Tarzan, Honey jumped off of the tree, swinging directly towards the two teens and armed men. As he swung in, he kicked one of the guards in the face then flipped into a squating pose.
With the new comotion, the rest of the guards turn to the blonde, guns aimed. "Hey! What do you think you're doing, pipsqueak?" One of the men said. After he gave a confident chuckle, Honey effortlessly knocked out the rest of the guards within seconds.
"Woah..." Was all Haruhi could say, sweating in fear and amazement at the strength of the Host Clubs Lolita. Standing up straight with his hands on his hips, Honey scolded the group of men, "You guys should be more careful who you mess with! Picking on my friends is bad! Got it?!" Even though he just beat up a group of grown ups and his words were slightly threatening, Honey exhuded cuteness. Said grown ups were only able to twitch in pain in response.
"Haruhi! Haruhi, are you alright?!" Tamaki shouted as he, Kyoya, Kaoru, and Hikaru ran to rejoin their friends. "Hey, It's Tama-chan!" Honey smiled. "Oh, wow." Hikaru started. "You okay senpai?" Kaoru finished. "Haruhi!" Tamaki shouted once again, tears falling from his eyes. Hugging the brunette from the back, Tamaki's demeanor completly changed, speaking with a soft confidence, "I was so worried."
"I'm not sure what happened here, but at least they're still alive." Hikaru said, poking one of the twitching guards. "It's pretty amazing that this is Honey-senpai's work. He must have really been holding back." Kaoru commented, poking a different twitching guard.
"Huh? What do you mean he was holding back?" Haruhi asked as she pinched Tamaki's hand, making him release her from his hug. "So then," Kaoru started. "You don't know about senpai?" Hikaru finished. "The Haninozukas are famous for their martial arts. Not only have they helped train the police and SDF forces, but they've also worked with several overseas militaries." The twins explain.
"Honey-senpai in particular has been called the dreadnought of the Haninozuka family. By the time he was in middle school, he'd become the national champion in both karate and judo." Kyoya added, making Haruhi look to the older blonde male. Honey just smiled and giggled.
"Mori-senpai's no slouch either. He won the national championship in kendo when he was just in middle school." Tamaki said, looking to the silent male. "So how were you able to find us, Honey-senpai?" Kaoru questioned said male. "It wasn't hard! It didn't take us long to reach the end of the current pool, so we decided to look for you guys." Honey explained with a smile.
At his words, Kyoya's eyes widened with panic, "Wait a second!" This remined most of the boys of their crush, who was currently still missing.
"Where's (Y/N)?!" Kyoya
"Where's (Y/N)-senpai?!" Kaoru and Hikaru.
"Mitsukuni, where's (Y/N)?" Mori.
Honey just smiled and giggled once more, "She's fine! She's up there." He pointed up towards a tree in the background. Fully facing it, he called out to the waiting girl, "(Y/N)-chan! It's safe to come out now! Do you need help getting down?!" The twins rushed forward, upset that their precious senpai was left up in a tree, "Of course she needs help-!" But they were cut off as you responded.
"No! I think I'll be able to get down by myself!" You looked around and saw a vine, 'Time to pull a Honey, I guess.' Taking ahold of said vine, you gave it a few tugs to see if it would snap easily. Seeing as it wasn't budging, you held on tight and jumped. You let out a shreik/laugh of fear and excitement as you rushed through the air.
"Woah, look at her go." Haruhi commented, a small amused smile on her lips. "Coming in hot!" You shouted as you got closer to the ground. "Look out!" The twins yelled as they dodged their flying senpai. Feeling close enough to the ground, you let go of the vine and tried to quickly balance yourself. Keyword: tried. You lost your footing and was about to faceplant onto the grass with a shout, but luckily for you, Mori caught you.
"You alright?" He asked, feeling his deep voice resonate through his toned chest once again. "O-Oh, y-yeah. Thanks." Was all you were able to stutter out, your cheeks flushing red. Mori helped you stand straight as Kyoya and the twins rushed over.
"(Y/N)-senpai! We're so glad you're okay!" Hikaru and Kaoru cried out dramatically, hugging you from both sides, almost exactly like how Tamaki hugged Haruhi earlier. Kyoya sighed in relief at seeing you, "Yes, I couldn't agree more. Do I need to call one of my family's doctors to come and see you?" You couldn't help but laugh, "I'm fine, you guys! Really." You gave the four teens surrounding you an assuring smile.
"We humbly apologize!" An unreconized voice interupted. All of the teens look to see it was one of the guards, on his hands and knees along with his squad. "I am a second-generation student of the Ishizuka Dojo!" The first guard said. "I'm a student of the Todoroki Dojo!" A second guard commented. "And I'm from the Otakeh Dojo! We are in your debt!" A third guard added.
"Why? Is something wrong?" Honey asked confused, realizing that all of those statements were aimed towards him. "Yes, sir! We're so sorry, sir! We were unaware that we were searching for Mitsukuni Haninozuka. We've commited a terrible offense here! I apologize for this confrontation. But my dojo will be so excited to hear that I've come face-to-face with the great Haninozuka. I cherish this moment!" The first guard informed, still on his hands and knees with his coworkers.
Brushing them off, Honey turned to his tall cousin, pulling Mori down to his height to pat the ravenette on the head, "Takashi, you did an amazing job of protecting Haru-chan!" The blonde let his cousin go back to his original height, "I bet you were pretty lonely without me around, huh?"
Looking to Haruhi through the corner of his eyes, Mori said, "I don't know if I'd say that." Looking back to Honey, Mori added, "I could say the same thing about you." Both of the cousins turn their gaze towards the (h/c) haired girl near them, both of the males sending their own smile towards her. Seeing their attention on her, she also sent them her own sweet smile that they've grown to love.
*Time Skip*
The group of teens leisurely made their way back towards the the changing rooms, Honey riding on Mori's shoulders, and Kyoya, Tamaki, and Haruhi going their own pace. Meanwhile, (Y/N) was inbetween Hikaru and Kaoru, swinging their conjoined hands. (Y/N) wasn't holding their hands because she asked, it was more so for the twins nerves. But, she wasn't complaining.
"You know, maybe we should go to the beach next." Hikaru suddenly started. "Yeah, the beach would be nice." Kaoru added. "You idiots, Haruhi's not interested in anything like that." Tamaki said with a slightly scolding tone. "Actually, I might like to go to the beach." Haruhi piped up, a thoughtful smile on her lips. Her words gained everyones attention. "I may not be into this silly waterpark, but I like the ocean. It would be nice to go to the beach, and it's so pretty."
Seeing how interested Haruhi was, Tamaki changed his attitude, already on board, "Yeah, alright. Then that's where we'll go next time!" "We're all gonna go to the beach, Tama-chan?" Honey started, leaning down on Mori's head with a smile, "That'll be fun, don't you think?" With a small smile of his own, Mori responded, "Yeah."
Kyoya then turned to a quiet (Y/N), "You're invited too, obviously." This caught the girl off guard, "Huh? Are you sure? I wouldn't want to intrude on your group." Hikaru and Kaoru scoffed. "Are you kidding me?" Hikaru started. "You're apart of this group whether you like it or not!" Kaoru finished. "It'll be so much more fun if you come with us, (Y/N)-chan!" Honey added. "Ditto," Mori said.
Tamaki softly chuckled, "What they said." Finally, Haruhi said, "It'll be nice to have someone sane around here." Looking to everyone, you couldn't help the large grin growing on your face, your heart felt full, "Okay! If you guys insits!"
