not quite since this season I wasn't looking for a coat myself - I haven't done any proper research, but I was browsing through a fashion magazine w/ trends earlier today and Blake Lively was wearing a lovely winter coat and this one was featured right below on the same page. I also adore the 'boyfriend' style - example 1 - example 2 - example 3
I have also noticed that the faux fur ones are really popular right now :)
