Elodie bolted up out of bed when she heard a crash down the hall. The... The garage? In all her thirteen years of living at Hot-Deals Autobody, there had never ever been a break in. Her heart got to pounding as she scrambled up and out of her room- tripping over her own feet as she did. It took a couple of tries for the poor teen to find the light switch... and there it was... A completely empty garage. She picked up a wrench. The tightness of her nervous grip had the metal bending and deforming in her palm as she held it aloft. It wasn't... the most practical weapon but it would- CRASH! Elodie screeched with terror and flung the wrench at the source of the sound. A similarly terrified screech emitted from the small grey robot that proceeded to scuttle it's way under one of the cars that was staying overnight for continued repairs.
"Hello???" Elodie crouched down, retrieved her 'weapon', and then approached the car where the 'intruder' was hiding. It made made a noise of protest when it spotted her- obviously just as startled as the mutant herself was. "Aw man- Listen! I'm sorry for screaming and everything! You kinda spooked me." No, she had not yet processed the fact that there is a ROBOT in the GARAGE.

a thin jagged shadow looms overhead, cast down by the frailest-looking jenga tower he’s ever seen in his life. getting it to this point was a challenge in itself, his large fingers nearly made a wreck out of it more than once. how mikey has managed to perfectly slide out the lower base pieces is giving him a real headache. . . just as he says, he’s going in for another piece, this one closer to his shoulder level.

mumbles accompany a shaky hand, that begins to delicately prod one of the outer pieces. a wobble here, a wobble there, and eventually he manages to slide it out safely. but it’s not over yet ! he still has to perfectly place it on the tower that’s grown far above him. of course, he can’t reach that high, so ; luminescent red sets aglow as he takes a sai from his belt, for a gigantic hand to stretch upwards. the piece is placed with a gentle touch, and his mystic hand makes a careful retreat.

She is watching with a serious look on her face.

She claps her hands together and smiles brightly.
