I met a Vietnamese woman who was an engineer for Boeing. She has two kids and is a single mother.
She quit her job to be an esthetician so she could have more flexible hours to spend time with her kids.
I had an appointment with her at 4 in the morning.
It's pretty routine for her to start that early so she can pick up her 12 year old from school by 2.
I never thought I'd be a stay at home mother or want anything close to that.
I used to joke around saying that my husband would have to be a stay at home dad .
But I would totally do that for my children.
Give up everything for them.
For their well-being, their happiness.
