thing is it wouldn’t be viable in the metagame because you’re going on luck to find a voltorb with perfect iv’s/nature.
Voltorbs will be very common.
Maybe to fix this for the hardcore meta-players, there is the option to give a Master Ball to the Daycare staff for a baby to be placed into. Bam! Fixed.

DIVE: Fire types!!! But man fire-types have a bad game going for them. First of all let me say STEALTH ROCK IS THE WORST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED because it requires the entire game to work around having a rock weakness like you can NEVER BE GOOD WITH A ROCK WEAKNESS BECAUSE THAT FUCKING MOVE IS SO PERVASIVE and between that, a ground weakness (when Earthquake is one of the most common moves around) and the lesser of the weathers to work with (though still a weather) it's TOUGH out there for a fire type but man SO MANY OF MY FAVOURITE CONCEPTS ARE IN FIRE TYPES like Growlithe's line, Numel and Camerupt, Ho-oh, Typhlosion.. man... fire.... rules.....
