The room is an American Film written, directed, produced by, and starring Tommy Wiseau along with Juliette Danielle and Greg Sestero. The film was premiered way back June 23, 2003, it focuses on a love triangle between Johnny(Tommy), Lisa(Juliette), and Mark(Greg). This film is known to be one of the weirdest movie ever made. Although being one of the weirdest movies ever people actually like seeing this movie. This film in included in a category called “Paracinema” and falls into a genre that is “Trash Film”. While watching the film at first I thought that it’d be a good one but as the story went on I found it weird, corny, somehow creepy every time I see Denny. But other than noticing it’s weirdness I also found it entertaining and funny, who would haver thought that a movie like that can keep you busy for almost 2 hours.

           The film goes like this, Johnny is a banker at San Francisco who lives with his fiancé, Lisa. But Lisa was not feeling attracted to Johnny anymore, so she seduces Mark (Johnny’s Bestfriend) into having a relationship behind Johnny’s back. After a few days, Lisa tells her mother and her friends lies about Johnny hitting her when they got drunk. Then one day, Johnny overhears from their stairs Lisa and Her mom talking about him, he hears Lisa saying hurtful words which made him think that he should record everything. Johnny sets up a tape recorder and connects it to their telephone then goes upstairs.

Denny, a neighbor of Johnny’s who he supports financially and treats likes a son, runs in with a drug dealer whom he owns money on the rooftop. The drug dealer points the gun at Denny’s head and forces him to give the money but Johnny and Mark see the two and takes the drug dealer to prison. The following day, Denny goes again to the roof top to talk to Johnny about how he has fallen in love with Lisa, but Johnny tries to understand the kid. Johnny slowly begins spiraling into a mental haze and call upon Peter, his and Mark's psychologist friend. Peter switches between defending Lisa and assessing her as a sociopath, which results in Mark, feeling guilty about his and Lisa's affair, briefly trying to murder him.

At a surprise party Lisa had planned for Johnny, one of their friends spots Mark and Lisa making out. When Johnny re-entered the living room, he announced that he and Lisa are going to have a baby soon. But at the end of the party, Lisa reveals her affair with Mark in front of Johnny which triggers him to attack mark infront of everyone.

After the night Johnny locks himself in a room so depressed then goes out to check the tape he had set up. While listening to the tape, Johnny hears Lisa’s conversation with Mark making him go nuts all over his house then commits suicide by shooting himself with a gun he got from a little chest. Surprised with what they heard, Lisa, Mark and Denny run upstairs to find Johnny lying dead on the floor. Denny tells the two to stay out of their lives ( well in this case in his life ‘cause Johnny’s already dead ) but the two stayed and waited for authorities to arrive.
