R-Reiner…Where did you find..She is so precious!” Bert stammered, cradling the small puppy in his arms. The tall lanky man was unused to handling such small creatures so he tried his best not to move around so much.

The shorter, muscular blond rubbed the back of his head. “Well I was coming home from work and I stopped for some gas. Saw her crouched under the pump. No collar or anything. Couldn’t just leave her and I know how you’ve wanted a pet.”

"Y-You didn’t have to! But thank you Reins. She is adorable." Bert cooed, gently stroking the puppy’s golden colored fur. 

"Well Berty" Reiner chuckled, wrapping an arm around his lover as he used his free hand to stroke the animal. "What should we call her?"

"I’m not sure…" Bert muttered, scratching behind the dog’s ears. The puppy blinked at them before cuddling into Bert’s chest.

"Shes like a little baby!" Reiner exclaimed before reaching up on his tip-toes to kiss Bert’s cheek. Bert smiled and tilted his head downwards so that their lips met. That is until a light bulb went off. 

"What baby..Annie! We’ll call her Annie!" Bert said, pulling away and adjusting the puppy so that he could hold it in front of him. The puppy wagged its tail in response. Reiner smiled.

"Welcome to the Shifter family Annie!"
