Dante and Aaron both use nonverbal communication but in different ways. Aaron uses mostly hand gestures and other motions, while Dante will just make noises rather than talking, mostly humming with a tone or specific bits of gibberish only Gene and Aaron understand.
YES. I’ve always headcannoned Aaron as mostly non-verbal, with his main method of communication being hand gestures and other motions! He doesn’t like talking much at all and prefers to stick to gestures; back in highschool, he and Aph even learned sign language to better communicate with each other so Aaron wouldn’t have to talk! It takes some adjustment from the others, but once Aaron starts trying to be closer with them, they learn all his gestures and such so he doesn’t have to talk when he doesn’t feel comfortable doing so :]
