MY BABY JACK. SEASON 1 OF TORCHWOOD JUST ENDED AND HE RUNS TO THE DOCTOR LEAVING MY OTHER BABIES BEHIND WITH NO EXPLANATION. MY BABY. Nope. Just seeing the Water Tower and the Millennium Centre caused me to go "NOPE. NOPE NOPE NOPE." BECAUSE MY BABIES ARE DOWN THERE RIGHT NOW HUGGING AND HAPPY THAT JACK IS ALIVE AFTER DEFEATING ABADDON AND JACK JUST FORGAVE MY BABY OWEN (OH GOD THE FEELS. I'M DYING) AND NOW HE'S RUNNING OFF WITHOUT TELLING THEM WHERE HE'S GOING. HE COULD HAVE AT LEAST SCREAMED "I'VE FOUND MY DOCTOR!" AS HE RAN OUT. JACK I LOVE YOU BUT YOU'RE SOMETIMES AS STUPID AS OWEN. AND OWEN IS PRETTY DUMB BUT I LOVE HIM TOO. Ok time to focus on actual Doctor Who. "The rifts been active" YES DOCTOR THE RIFT'S BEEN ACTIVE THERE'S BEEN ALIENS AND PEOPLE FROM THE FUTURE AND THE PAST COMING THROUGH AND MY BABIES HAVE TO SAVE EVERYONE BUT AT THE SAME TIME THEY OPENED THE RIFT (OWEN YOU IDIOT) AND ALMOST KILLED EVERYONE AND YEAH. Ok. Stop it Hope. Focus on Doctor Who not Torchwood... OH MY GOD IT'S CAPTAIN JACK. *DIES* The first time I watched this I didn't know about Torchwood being Jack's spin-off so I was NOT expecting Jack to come running after the TARDIS. It was such a happy surprise (EVEN THOUGH NOW IT CAUSES FEELS.) I love that even flying through the Time Vortex to the end of the universe can't defeat Captain Jack. Oh I loved Chantho. I remember I saw this episode when it aired and loved the idea of a culture making it a more (oooh look at me using sociology terms, my teacher would be so proud. It basically means something polite, something people do because not doing it would be rude such as not holding a door.) to say your first syllable before everything you say and your last syllable after. It would keep people from interrupting other people since they will know when they're done talking... NO. THEY'RE NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY THE TORCHWOOD THEME. STOP CAUSING ME FEELS. I literally squeaked just now when I heard it. Ok I'm five minutes in and I've already written more than I did for a lot of episodes so I'm gonna close tumblr to stop tempting me to write stuff. Well that lasted less than a minute. I remember freaking out when he came back to life since I didn't know he was immortal then. Ok NOW I'll close this until like... halfway through the episode. The scene where Martha and Chantho talk about saying her name in every sentence and she says "No." I actually remember vividly from when I watched it when I was 11 or 12. If only the Doctor knew who he was talking to, he'd probably still be complimenting Yana/the Master because he is a genius but he'd be doing it reluctantly. Ok the first time I watched this I was so happy that Yana had a watch because that meant that my baby the Doctor wasn't the last one. I was going "Oh my god! It has Gallifreyan on it! Oh my god he's a Time Lord!" Now I'm just like "oh god oh god oh god..." Also I love that Jack is the one who says "That means he could be a Time Lord. You might not be the last one!" when it was the Face of Boe who told the Doctor "You are not alone." God I'm getting feels over a floating head... I love the Master. I mean I hate the Master... but I love him... not in the same way I hate and love Torchwood, I just love how funny the Master can be even though he's completely insane and evil. Also Doctor, I get that your childhood friend/enemy/should-be-dead-but-isn't-Time Lord is back, but 2 of your companions are trying to close a door to keep all of you alive and you're just standing. You could be screaming at the Master AND pushing the door at the same time and then let go to try to stop the Master from leaving my making the TARDIS only go to its last trip. Ok it's 2am and I'll probably watch the next episode, but leave the finale for tomorrow.
