I think the reason a lot of people don’t believe him — or feel disappointed about his recent relationship with the paps — is because it’s known that he or his team calls them as part of the job. So it feels weird to see him act annoyed or uncomfortable when he knows he’s going to be papped (I’m not talking about that specific video). Like, if you know you’re going to get papped, just keep a straight face and move on. You don’t have to cover your face or look upset at the camera. I think for a lot of people it feels awkward to watch him do that because it doesn’t come across as genuine. And yeah, there are aspects of his career that aren’t fully genuine, but seeing him act like that can feel a bit cringe. It really makes you doubt everything about him, like are you who you're shown to be or are you just a good actor that is pretending all the time to be someone else to sell more and be portrayed as a victim? And it’s not even about whether people believe he’s in a pr relationship right now or not. I'm talking about his solo pap pics
What I hate about this sort of thinking is that it combines huge assumptions about what is happening with a controlling and narrow mindset about what sort of behaviour is acceptable.
You jump from his team call paps sometimes (I think it's a reasonable assumption that they do - although I"m not sure we can be certain) to - we can be sure that he knew he was going to be papped every time we see pap pictures
But why would that follow? Pictures of Harry sell - why would paps come only when his team called? There's so much black and white thinking in this - either paps are called all the time or Harry would never call the paps. But what if sometimes they're called and sometimes they're not. Sometimes he's seen and sometimes he doesn't. He doesn't know what's going to happen before he leaves the house. Sometimes he hopes he's not going to be papped and is disappointed when he is.
But even more importantly - so what if he knew he was going to be papped and still looked grumpy/covered his face? Lots of people do heaps of things they hate doing for their jobs all the time. Demanding that everyone perform happiness for anything that they're doing as part of their job is grotesque.
It's wild that you're calling looking unhappy while you do a work task ungenuine. People genuinely have a full range of emotions while doing work tasks.
