Hi I love reading the stories you tell about the 1D boys, so I especially loved your response to the anon who asked about what stories you’re telling about 1D’s relationships to each other. It definitely mirrored some my own stories and I found it super interesting. In your response you said you chatted with @42mins about what it might have meant/does mean to have relationships with Harry and Louis as a couple. If you wanted, I would be super interested in hearing your stories/thoughts about it!

Thanks anons - I'm pretty late with my response, but loved hearing that people found what I thought interesting.
@42mins might want to add on, but the bit I remember about our conversation is the difference between friends with people as individuals and friends with people as a couple.
I think Niall is the only 1D member who is friends with Harry and Louis as a couple - and that probably suits his self contained nature. I think it would make the 1D dynamics less intense, and easier to be who they are now. (Because as a couple Harry and Louis are who they are now, but I think most other 1D members interact in a way that is very informed by who they were when they were in the band. And I would think that's hard to jump out of).
Like I said, I don't think Liam interacts with Louis and Harry as a couple, because Harry retreats when he feels people need things from him he doesn't want to give. And Zayn doesn't interact with either of them. Although I'm interested in whether he doesn't interact with the two of them as a couple or seperately. In the last days Zayn was in 1D, he had a very different relationship between Louis and Harry, but he may think of them differently now.
I think there are other questions - such as how other 1D members feel about them as a couple, both as people who exist, and as an idea that has had so much impact on their careers. I'd be interested in other people's thoughts about that, because all I've got right now is that I think Liam reacts most to the idea of Larry, for very different reasons it's less important for Zayn and Niall.

I know the anon who send you the video about Harry and Louis talking about what they like on girls but as a young woman (I’m 21) it’s kinda pissed me off. I know it’s like old but all my life I’ve heard boys say I like this on a woman, I don’t like when woman wears this or this etc and I’m like Idgaf? Like I love them but if they were not the people I think they are or were just boys from my school and said this to me I would told them off and I would say that I would wear whatever I want cause I have not opened my mouth to ever say what I like boys to wear especially when they would probably wear the same pair of jeans for months. I don’t know if this makes sense or If I’m coming off a bit strong but it kinda sparked some rage in me and it’s probably cause I’ve heard that before. Not even from my dad I would let it slide. I think it just brought bad memories from me.
Oh I totally agree anon - that’s where I started with my response too (although I didn’t finish making that point, because I got distracted with my feelings about Louis talking about his celebrity crush). Like fuck off to all of them. How dare they use oxygen to express their opinions about how women dress. The entitlement! Me too! I feel like there’s a lot going on, but they’re also really short so you can watch them lots and really getting into it.
Really thinking about the continuities and the discotinuities between 1D and their solo careers has been particularly interesting to me. And quite telling, in some indirect ways.
