• Ogham divination set • made from birch saplings that were cut while clearing a trail, this is a set of 19 letters that originated in oral tradition and were carved on standing stones by Celtic peoples in the British Isles. This form of alphabet is probably at least 2000 years old, and was used as sign language as well as for special intentional purposes, like marking graves or for magic. Each letter stands for a specific type of tree, which has its own symbolic meaning. Although using these symbols for divination is likely a new use for Ogham that was not performed in the past, it is an incredible way for anyone interested in connecting with ancestors (spiritual or blood) from the British Isles and with the medicine of these trees.
