pomegranate: when do you feel the most confident?
“Curious.” Dany mused, her head tilting to one side and a finger coming up to tap across her bare lower lip —she usually only wore make-up of any real weight when it was time to be in the club and glad-handing their regulars — and allowed herself a moment’s silence to contemplate.
Most people would argue that she needed a specific person or skill-set to be in use to feel confident —to feel empowered —as it had been presented that way her whole life. Her family gave people chills so that’s why she was confident, right? Or the fact that she had such power behind her now from her husband’s associations? No, Daenerys felt differently.
“I feel most confident when people underestimate me, because it means I’m about to show them something they hadn’t been expecting...”
