          when he wakes up to an empty bed, nova panics           only a little ( it always takes him a  second to remember           who he is ). he gropes  around for noel and, when he           can’t find him,  he groans quietly while pushing himself           out of bed. grabbing their comforter and throwing it           around himself, he walks silently to the living room           and lets himself fall on the couch next the other, eyes           still droopy with sleep. the frown on the other season’s           face is enough for nova to shake his head softly and           lean in close to kiss his shoulder.
