In America itâs the first amendment - I may not agree with what you say but will defend to the death your right to say it etc etc
Of course, in a face-to-face situation you should be allowed to say whatever shitty thing you want, but showing up in bunches to yell hateful things at people? Â Surely the first amendment should differentiate between the two? Â Or at least they should be arrested for disturbing the peace?
I checked into the girl who made the post about the Fourth of July thing, and the one who 'called her out' on it. I live in Michigan myself, and seeing her, she is a good representation of a white-passing mix-raced native person here. There is a photo on her blog of her and her mother, who is clearly a light-skinned native person. Not sure what the 'callout' person was trying to accomplish here, but they were clearly bending the truth to try and hurt someone who they were not close with...

I found out having a sdhedual of things to do really helped my depression and anxiety because I know what I'm doing and when so I don't usually get wrapped up in things. It still crops up but I hope that things are better for you here at your aunt's
